Shenandoah Chamber & Industry Association's Thursday at the Flatiron is an event that showcases Shenandoah's remodeled streetscape downtown the last Thursday of each month May through October. Each celebration features free food, entertainment, games and activities downtown at the Flatiron Plaza near the clock at the Corner of Sheridan Ave. and Blossom St. It's also in front of the historic flatiron building, just like the ones in New York and Paris. Thursday at the Flatiron is fun for all ages. Shenandoah businesses sponsor the event and each has a unique theme from patriotism to back to school party to Halloween. Shenandoah Garden City Farmer's Market sets up in front of city hall during the event. Downtown stores are also open late for shopping during Thursday at the Flatiron. Bring your lawn chair and join the summertime fun.
