Shenandoah, the retail hub of Southwest
Iowa is a great place to shop for a day. A variety of
gift boutiques, stores filled with women's, men's, and
children's fashions and sporting goods, distinctive
home decorating shops, and more line the newly renovated
downtown streetscape on Sheridan Avenue. Hwy 59 corridor
features the larger chain store. Dine at one of our
popular and unique restaurants or stop by for a malt
at the old fashion soda fountain. Their food is exceptional
and locations nostalgic. Have lunch in an old train
depot or a former church sanctuary.
Shenandoah is not just great for shopping it's also
a wonderful place to live and visit. Tours of Shenandoah's
